Why the Biodiversity Collage?

To understand the challenges and pressures around biodiversity, through a fun, collaborative, visual and accessible workshop, based on the IPBES report.

"The global rate of species extinction is already at least tens to hundreds of times higher than the average rate over the past 10 million years and is accelerating."

IPBES, 2019

Debrief and actions
Divided into groups of 5-7, recreate an ecosystem and discover the impacts of human disturbance within it. Find the links between the 39 cards, distributed in 5 lots, to understand what biodiversity is, what it enables and what degrades it. Decorate and find a title for the Collage in order to present your work to the other groups. Reflect on learnings and collectively develop an action plan to stop biodiversity loss. The debrief is adapted to the objectives of each workshop.
